Mike Petzold is a self-taught illustrator from the central valley of California. He spent much of his childhood outdoors, hiking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Now, those mountains serve as a source of inspiration for many of his illustrations. His work has been featured in several REI stores, including the Folsom and Sacramento locations.
